The Tassemark Trail
Tanumshede

This is a track to the north of, and around the village of Tanumshede. You can set off on this path from the car park at Hedemyr`s store (ICA Supermarket), and walk along the Tassemark Trail that takes you into rugged country just on the outskirts of the villages. 
The track is about 3 km. long and passes over high rocky areas providing an imposing view over the Ryland valley, the E6 highway and much more. A sheltered resting place among the woods and ancient monuments is also provided with a place for grilling. You can see several Bronze Age stone cairns along the trail. The trail can also be reached from the car park at the Stall Heane stable, where there is also a large notice board with a map over covering all the trails around Tanumshede.
