Biosphere - cycle trail
Mariestad
This cycle trail between Lidköping and Mariestad is around 65 kilometres long. The trail takes you past beautiful views, delightful beaches, through deep forests, and to many fascinating local sights and interesting nature reserves.
The idea is to take your time, and enjoy discovering and experiencing the nature and culture along the way. The trail mostly runs along quiet roads (sometimes gravel roads), while some sections are completely car-free.
Keep an eye out for any vehicles on your travels, wear a cycle helmet and take your time!
